What the heck happened to June?!

Wow this month just flew by! It's been a pretty busy month, so I guess that's why. Alex came to visit me a couple weeks ago, and this is the only picture I got while he was here. This is when we went to a Tiger's game with Jared one night. It was fun to hang out and catch up with my "lil bro". We were such little trouble makers together when we were younger.

Last week was girl's camp, the first time I've been since I was a Young Woman. It was pretty fun. I was in charge of all the first year girls (age 12). Man, they have a LOT of energy. I was surprised how much confidence some of them had, considering they were the youngest of the flock.

It cracked me up how on our hike the girls kept stopping every two seconds to take pictures of the scenery, even the gross mossy ponds and burned up trees.

It is so weird camping in Michigan, even "up north" where we were. Even at night it didn't ever drop below 80 degrees, which was annoying because I brought mostly warmer clothes because everywhere else I've ever been camping it still gets cold at night, even in the summer. I guess I should have learned from the first time we went camping in Michigan. But overall it was a great experience and I'm glad I was able to go.

Jared also took his boards last week and is now officially a "half doctor". I got him a cake to celebrate.

He won't find out for a few more weeks how well he did, but I have no doubts that he rocked it!

More excitement to come this weekend, when Jared's mom and two of his sisters come to visit.  Woo hoo!
