February is coming to a close this week, and I can honestly say that I am not the least bit sad about it! Having a husband out of the country all month+ 2 or more feet of snow+ sub-zero temperatures almost daily+ school/Midterms+ work+ sick baby with RSV= YUCK!
My poor sweet baby was so sick for almost a week with RSV. This is how most of the days were spent while he was sick:

We lived in our jammies the whole week
Since February was beyond cold, we tried to do some things to pass the time and "warm up" the mood:
Turned the heat up and let Shad run around in his diaper like it was summer
Put cool sunglasses on like we were at the beach
Had a "beach party" with some of the girls in our ward (I made pina coladas, turned the heat up to 80 degrees, set up the umbrella and beach chair, and then we painted our toenails and ate "summer foods")
Face Timed with daddy (what could make me feel warmer inside than seeing the mug on my handsome man? Really.)
I bought a sled for Shad, but since he was still sick and it was too cold outside to take him out, we just went back and forth in the house dozens of times (is it sad that I counted it as my workout for the day?)
We also adopted a possum, who gets fed old bread on our back porch every morning:
Well that's about all the excitement we had during the whole month. Looking forward to a brighter and hopefully warmer month of March!
