So.... I'm not going to lie, I'm a little scared that it's almost here. We are leaving our family and moving clear across the country. Up until this point, I've mainly been excited, but I think it's starting to wear off and now I'm feeling a little nervous and scared. I know I will have so many times where I will be sad and lonely. I just hope I can make some really good friends to keep me company.

You guys are going to do great! You will make tons of new friends that feel just like family. Just keeping us up to date on your great adventure.
First of all, that picture rocks. :) Second of all, I am scared, too. I will miss you too much. Please come visit often and call all the time. I love you Steph.
I won't lie: grad school is hard. There will definitely be moments of misery. BUT, that being said, it's a Parris Island kind of hard--the kind of hard that builds your character, strengthens your relationships, and brings you closer together with your husband. It's also a great opportunity to meet new people, make friends, and grow in ways you didn't think were possible. Over the next four years, you'll form special bonds with people who--unlike most of the rest of the world--actually do know *exactly* what you're going through. And, trust me, although there'll be moments when you'll want to throw each other out the window, all the stress and misery will bring you and your husband even closer together.
I've been there! I know what I'm talking about :-) Hang in there!!!
I was sitting here crying, writing a post about how much I am going to miss you. Then I saw this picture and busted out laughing... Laughter through tears is my favorite emotion! Thanks Steph. I am going to miss you more than you will know. I don't blame you for being scared, but you know it's the right thing to do, and God will bless you. I love you Girlie :-)
Steph-I have no doubt you will find new friends there and new adventures. You are such a likeable person so it won't be hard for you to meet new people. I have moved alot in my lifetime and made lots of lasting friendships along the way. It is always scary at first because there is a lot of uncertainty but you will be just fine! Will miss you like crazy though! Make sure you get skype stuff set up so we can chat! Love ya!
I wouldn't worry about making new friends...you and Jared are so likable and friendly! You will be laughing and hanging out with people in no time! I hear that the wives of med school men band together and do stuff when the boys are busy. Hopefully, that is the case! Super good luck. Wish you the best...
Hey stephers, been thinking about you all week, hope you guys are doing well and getting moved in okay.:) Love you!
I totally remember that feeling. I will tell you that as hard as it is to move, it is amazing! So much fun to just be the 2 of you. It will be the funnest, hardest, most stressful couple of years. Kevin and I always look back and think of how much we loved being on our own, and away from family. Good luck and we miss you! When is your next visit back?
