- Jared was accepted into medical school at MSU
- Jared graduated Weber State University with honors- a Bachelor's degree in Spanish, and minors in Art, Zoology and Chemistry
- I ran my first marathon
- We said goodbye to family and friends and moved across the country to Michigan
- We said bye to my brother Andrew for two years as he serves a mission in Korea
- We said hello to my brother Alex who just got home from a mission in Korea
- I ran my first half marathon (after my first full marathon of course)
- We spent Thanksgiving in Pennsylvania with some good friends
- Jared finished his first semester of med school with mastery level grades in all of his classes
- Jared and I were able to visit our family and friends back in Utah for Christmas- what a good time!
We have been very blessed this past year and look forward to this year as we continue to have new and exciting adventures together. We love you all and happy new year!

I hope we can make you play cards with us again! I've been trying to get people to play hand and foot with me ever since Christmas! No one will... It WAS fun once we figured it out! love ya guys... I have a recipe for you for the ninja - we use it almost everyday just for this recipe. I'm going to email it to you later tonight cuz ella is crying... don't let me forget.
