Weekend in Utah

My mom flew me back home to Utah for a few days since I hadn't seen Alex yet since he got home from his mission. Jared wasn't able to come because of school, and he had one of his finals on Monday. (poor kid, med school is rough!) It was such a great weekend though hanging out with my amazing family!

On our way home from the airport on Thursday we stopped at In-N-Out (so good!). Then I took a nap for a couple hours because I worked a graveyard shift the night before and hadn't slept yet. That night Alex made us Korean food, which was also way good! Then we played games the rest of the night.

The next day (Friday) Holly and Ash came over and we had lunch and watched Napolean Dynamite and our wedding videos. I love spending time with my mom and sisters!

That night we had our annual Halloween party with my mom's side of the family.

My favorite costumes: Effie Trinket and a mouse. Olivia is so stinkin cute I just couldn't get enough of her! She is the best baby ever!

Saturday I went running with Holly (man I've missed running on dirt trails!) and then I went to the temple with Ash, Alex and my parents. That night my friend Sierra had a Halloween party and I took Alex with me. We painted pumpkins...

This is supposed to be my little brother Andrew who is in the MTC and going to Korea soon. Racist? Perhaps a little. Wasn't trying to be. Alex made me do it. ;)

What a fun night, thanks Sierra!

The next day I went to see Alex and my dad speak in another ward, and then went to the rest of my parents' ward with my mom. Then the rest of the day was spent hanging out with family, and before I knew it, I was back on a plane at 6:00 the next morning... :( I miss my family already!

I know and how jealous am I. I wish I could have spent some time with you too steph. those darn church meetings are usually on sunday afternoons. We know who paid for the ticket, and know jared wasn't there and we know our house needs more space. but we still miss you.

I'm so happy you got to come home.... I know how tough those first few months being away from home with a husband in school feel like. i'm sure you needed that little pick-me-up. Your family seems pretty fun. Glad you got to see them.
