Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

My Grandpa got to spend Christmas day at his own house, he was just so happy to be out of that nursing home for a little bit I'm sure. At least he's got his "favorite nurse" to take care of him while he's there. We're hoping he'll get to go home for good this week. Keep your fingers crossed!

We spent New Year's Eve in Evanston, Wyoming. Well, we spent most of the night hanging out at Trace and Sierra's house, and then around 10:00 we decided on a whim to drive to Evanston to buy some fireworks. By the time we got there all the shops were closed for the night, and there was only about 15 minutes until midnight, so we went into the nearest truck stop and counted down with this lady at the front counter who would have spent it all by herself. Haha we're so crazy, but it was really fun, and definitely a New Year's we will never forget.

Christmas break was so nice! I can't believe we have to go back to school tomorrow. What's worse, we have 3 nurses on maternity leave and 3 doing their precepting this month, so I am scheduled 43 hours a week this whole month (which will turn out to be more around 45 or 46 since I never leave on time) Bring on the overtime! Luckily my classes wont be too hard; I have Spanish, Abnormal Psychology, Consumer Health, Bowling, and a rock climbing class that is just a weekend of rock climbing in March. I'm pretty excited. I hope everyone has a great year! (oh, and be sure to pray that Jared will get into the U for med school! He'll find out in March whether or not he is accepted.)
