Yesterday I had a really bad day. Jared was so sweet to me when I called him yesterday and told him about my day. He called a few different times after that to see if I was doing ok. Then he gave me a huge hug when he came home from work and gave me a good pep talk last night. Today my mom came over and brought me a balloon, soup, chapstick and a Jones soda (my favorite, berry lemonade!). I am so blessed to have such good family in my life to make me feel better when I'm having a rough day. It makes all the difference in the world. Thanks guys, I love you all so much!

Ah, Steph! I love you! I hope today is better than yesterday. Call me anytime. Seriously.
I heard about it and I was tempted to go beat someone up... It was so unfair. I'm glad things are better for you and if you need some backup, I have guns at my house :-) Ha ha
Oh, Stephie, are you doing okay? You can call me whenever you need to talk. I'm always up for a good talk. Love you!
What a sweet mom and hubby. It's nice to have support when you have those days. Hope you're feeling better!
Support to help hold us up, huh? I can predict that we are going to need it....ah crap! Well if it helps I hope you know that I'm here too. Feel free to call. I'm here with kleenex, chocolate, but most of all: SALT & VINEGAR!!! Well to be honest you'll have to get your chocolate from Tori :0)
I hope a patient didn't hit you again. I hate bad days. I hope you are feeling better. You know you can always call me too, right? Seriously, I would love it if you did. I've been feeling pretty down too for some reason but that's a different story. I hope you are doing great now. Jared - good job!
I just gave these recipes to my friend who was looking for easy beef recipes. I don't have your email address but I thought you might like these because they are way easy and I know you guys like meat!
Marinate steak and sliced onions in Worcestershire, McCormak grill seasoning and crushed garlic. Grill onions and steak on grill or in a skillet. Toast a loaf of french bread under the broiler. Spread with mayo and Dijon mustard (Or better - mix 1 Cup sour cream with 2 TB horseradish sauce and 2 tsp dijon mustard and spread that on your sandwich instead of Mayo and mustard). Top with mixed greens. Slice steak and add to sandwich. Layer on the grilled onions and sliced tomatoes. Top it all off with provolone cheese.
French Dip Sandwich:
3-4 pound roast. 1 can beef broth, 1 can french onion soup, and one can beef consome. (or use 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix, 1 can beef broth and 1 soup can water) Mix together in crock pot and cook on high for 6 hours. Serve meat on toasted buns with juice on the side to dip. (Landon's FAVORITE meal)
Ok - here's another recipe - use the leftover roast from the french dip and add 1 can black beans and one box cooked spanish rice to it (rice a roni is great). Wrap mixture in flour tortillas and place seam side down in baking pan. Pour red enchilada sauce over the top and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes. serve with shredded lettuce, sour cream, and salsa
Hi Smed family! This is Tiffany, I went to school with Jared. It is good to see everything is going so well for you guys. I love that blogs give a peek into each others lives. Check our blog out, I don't think you guys have seen Landen.
