Jared and I decided on a whim to go to Bear Lake yesterday for our anniversary to get raspberry shakes and possibly camp for the night. We decided to wait and take a nice longer trip next year when I'm a nurse and we'll actually have some money. So we drove up to Bear Lake and realized we didn't have our tent, so we just had a campfire and roasted hot dogs and ate our year old cake, which was surprisingly very good and moist still! Then we started driving home at 1 in the morning and Jared was too tired so we pulled over at the mouth of Logan canyon so he could take a half hour nap and the next thing we knew it was 8 in the morning. Ha! So that was our anniversary trip, and it was really fun, even to get away for just a day.
We set this up on a timer on top of my car; it actually worked quite well. The sunset was pretty with the lake and mountains in the foreground.

ahhh, happy anniversary again! You guys are really fun. I wish cameron and I would have done more stuff like that before we had kids. fun times
