Recipes Anyone?

I am running of dinner ideas to make for my hungry hubby! Does anyone have any sweet recipes they would like to share with me? (Preferably cheap and/or easy ones) :)

This is what it will look like in a few years if I don't keep feeding my husband. Haha

Do you have one of the yellow cookbooks from the P.V. 11th ward? It has a ton of good recipes (most of which are mom's). I also find a lot of good ones on ksl.com
Holls and I were just saying today, whenever we can't think of anything to make we have grilled cheese and tomato soup.
Here is what I am making tonight:

Chicken Roll-ups

2 chicken breasts cooked and cut up (I use canned chicken from costco, it's already cooked)
4 ounces of cream cheese (1/2 block)
1 can cream of chicken soup
sliced olives
1 pkg of crescent rolls

combine first 4 ingredients, spoon onto crescent roll dough, roll up and bake according to directions on rolls

These are way easy and Jud loves them!

Steph - I got this from Amanda Dickson (KSL morning radio):

Sunday Chicken

4 to 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 cans cream of chicken soup, condensed
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 cup sour cream

1) Place chicken in greased slow cooker.
2) Mix remaining ingredients, except sour cream, and pour over chicken. Cover and cook on high 4 hours or low 6-8 hours.
3) One hour before serving, stir in sour cream.

You can also bake this in a Dutch oven at 350 ° for one hour. Add the sour cream just before serving. It is good served with rice or noodles.

Steph, I just made the Olive Garden Fettucine Alfredo. (In the yellow ward cookbook) The boys pretty much licked the pan clean. They all loved it. It's good, but fattening. I put chicken in it that I had grilled on the George Foreman before. Also, I once put the sauce over tortellini and that was goo, too.

I will have to let you know how my new recipes turn out that I'm making this week. I miss you! We need to see each other more.

Chicken Fajitas
Marinate sliced green peppers, red peppers, mushrooms, onions and chicken (cooked) in an even mix of ranch and salsa. After at least an hour of marinating everything warm in a frying pan and then serve warm with yummy flour tortillas. It's a hit. Goes great with a side green salad.

This is Jared's FAVORITE fajita recipe (at least I think - it's my moms recipe)
Marinate Peppers, onions, and Steak (I use stew meat 'cause it's already cut up but it's kinda pricey so just cut up whatever steaks are on sale that day or you can use chicken)in this:
1/2 C oil
1/3 C red wine vinegar
1 TB chili powder
2 tsp cumin
1 tsp oregano
2 crushed garlic cloves
salt/pepper
a sprinkle of cayenne
Mix everything together and put in a ziploc bag in the fridge for a while (the longer the better). Grill everything and wrap up with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa in a tortilla.

I can give my mom's stand by spaghetti sauce that Jared likes too if you want. Let me know
